It would be very useful to have a description field, where the developer can describe what the text is used for/where it is used. It should be visible in the source text and also in the translation. This would make it easier for the translator to find the translation in the Application and understand the context. Furthermore the support for images (for screenshots of the application for example) in the description field would be good too.

We call it “Translation note” and it’s already available. You can edit it in source language screen or depending on you format, Localazy can also parse comments directly from source files, if supported.
Screenshots are already in progress and should be ready in preview in a couple of weeks.
